Samsung to introduce flexible android phone in 2012





Possibility of flexible displays has been around for more than a decade, Samsung is going to make it a reality.
Samsung is all set to release world's first flexible android phone during second quarter 2012.

Samsung unveiled the new flexible AMOLED display at Hongik University in South Korea on june 10 and at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, it was designed and developed by Professor.Haeseong J.Jee and Hye Yeon You.
 
The futuristic device is named as Galaxy Skin . The specifications are supposed to be,
4-inch WVGA SUPER AMOLED (800x480) Flexible display,
8 MP rear camera ,
VGA front camera for Video calling,
1.2 GHz processor with 1GB RAM,
32 and 16GB storage,
1500mAh Battery,
Wi-Fi,Bluetooth 3.0,
Smart Projector,
 
 
 
Some reports say that Galaxy skin would run on brand new OS based on Android known as 
Android Flexy developed specifically for flexible AMOLED displays.
